Surfaces: Chroma Acrylic

Chroma is a type of translucent acrylic resin panel used in interior architecture and design applications. It is made from 38% recycled content, and is saturated with luminous color. It is ideal for bold, horizontal applications. Interior uses include partitions, sliding doors, wall features, transaction desks, wall to ceiling installations, lighting fixtures, ceiling features and installations, table tops, shelving, column features, seating, and glazing.

They are committed to continually increasing the recycled content in Chroma and other materials, and developing new and innovative products that use minimal or no virgin materials.

All of 3-Form’s products contain high levels of recycled content (Chroma contains 38% recycled content), and can be reclaimed at the end of their use. Their Reclaim program allows for the reuse and recycling of materials removed from installations or panels damaged in production. It is a bi-directional process that prevents panels from entering the landfill and extends their useful life.

Maintenance: Chroma sheets can be cleaned by rinsing them with lukewarm water. Dust and dirt should be removed with a soft cloth or sponge with a solution of mild soap and water. A 50:50 solution of isopropyl alcohol and water also works well. DO NOT use solvents such as acetone, benzene, gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, xylene, toluene, ketones, or lacquer thinner to clean Chroma.

If scratches occur, Chroma can be repaired/refinished using 220-grit sandpaper with a dual action orbital sander.

The peel coat should be removed within 30 days of receiving the shipment. If adhesive residue is left on the sheet, GOO GONE® can be used to remove it. If problems persist, please contact the 3-Form Technical Support.
